Espresso-Bourbon Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup bourbon
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup reduced-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon instant espresso coffee powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in small saucepan; bring to a boil.  Reduce heat; simmer 8 to 12 minutes or until sauce is thickened and reduced by half (3/4 to 1 cup). Serve immediately.
